HAPPY New Year 2022! Very excited to meet you again right here in this new year. As
I am sitting in front of my laptop to decide which topic I want to share with you this
the very first month of 2022, I decided this is the one: Belief, Awareness, and Action. Without these three crucial keys, nothing works out.
Let’s start with the belief system. The deeply rooted belief is powerful to fuel your
emotion and actions. The limiting belief inhibits you, limits you, and stops you from
pursuing the life you truly want to live. Think about this example. Sally always falls
sick, lacks energy, can not focus well, and feels tired. She might go through her life
feeling like usual, and she has to bear with it. Since young, her family members
suffered from health challenges, living in a family culture that eating a lot of
processed food without exercise. Generation by generation tells her this eating habit
and lifestyle are completely fine and normal.

comfort, and she feels good when eating. Our brain tends to reinforce what we
already believe. When she is stressed, she eats, then she feels good. Your belief is
the master commander of your behaviour and results. When you change your belief
system, you change everything.
The next step is developing self-awareness. Self-awareness is the ability to recognize,
identify, and evaluate your thoughts and actions. Some people go through their lives
with strong self-awareness, while many don’t. Now, back to Sally. With self-
awareness, she would realize that she can live a vibrant life with more aliveness,
healthier, more energetic! Her entire ability to recognize she has the choice to make
a change to enjoy a better, healthier life. This is self-awareness.
The last step is action. Without taking action, nothing will happen. Action is the
antidote for your fear. When you take action, you signal to your brain, you are taking
one step forward to make things happen. Sally takes action to discover ways to
eradicate her limiting beliefs, feed her body with the right food, exercise, sleep
better, and manage her stress well. She starts to take little baby steps every day to
practice positive habits towards her health and vitality. The more she practiced, the
more she felt she was gaining back her energy, feeling great, focusing well, and
running her day without feeling tired like last time!
Now, Sally has a new belief system about food. Food is fuel for her. She understands
what she needs to do and keeps practicing good habits towards her wellness
because she wants to feel good.
This is the power of taking a small, simple step towards a goal, the compounding
effect. After some time, you experience the wonderful outcome that makes you feel
great. The more you do, the more momentum you have. Keep going, my friend.
Remember this equation – knowledge x action = power.
