TEN MARA sponsored medical students from the Universiti Sains Malaysia-Karnataka Lingayat Education (USMKLE) International Medical Programme have made the country proud when they emerged as champion in the ‘Battle of Fusion Band’ competition held in conjunction with the Umang Youth, International Kite Festival in Belgaum, India from January 21-24, 2017.

Even though they were busy with their studies, these future doctors have put in a lot of effort and came out on top, beating six other teams in the competition.
As champion, they were awarded Rs 10,000 in prize money and certificates of appreciation.
It is hoped that their success and achievements will inspire more Malaysians especially the younger generation to achieve feats that would put Malaysia on the world stage. – USM
